Our Ideas

In order to develop useful and viable ideas for the Consulting Club, we first identified the club's core goal:

Help students get jobs in consulting

Given this context, we then laid out the 3 main stages of the recruiting process and focused on identifying ways to enhance the club's role in each stage.

A few of our ideas are below, but we think this should be a two-way conversation informed as much by your experiences as ours.  Please take a moment to submit your thoughts/ideas via the Your Ideas page or via email.  We are confident that by working together we can identify better ways to build upon the excellent foundation left by past leadership teams.
    • Add an international component to the Mentorship and Training roles to create resources specifically for students recruiting with international offices
    • Compile comprehensive recruiting statistics and company information into a handbook for students
    • Collect any prep books that students no longer need and are willing to donate for future students
    • Create a Recruiting Roadmap with suggested milestones to help students plan their prep activities
    • Update the casebook to reflect changes in the firms' interviews, cases used by firms, etc.
    • Work with the CMC to create tips and guidelines for students interviewing on the phone or via video conferencing
Those are some of our ideas, but
